Welcome to Nashua Patch 2.0

Change is inevitable – and good, as you're about to see.

Welcome to the new Patch! We’re really pleased with it and we think you’ll like it, too. First of all, we think the site looks livelier, and more like Nashua, including our "cover photo" of the iconic Le Parc de Notre Renaissance Francais along the Nashua River, with some millyard stacks in the background.

What else is new?

You'll see that our news looks better, is easier to comment on, and easier to share. And right below the news on the homepage you’ll see blogs, where we can showcase more town voices and get a view of what’s happening beyond the news. Plus, we’ve made it easier to start a blog yourself — any time, about anything.

Speaking of reader voices, the freshest thing you’ll find on the new Patch is our Boards. The Boards are a place on Patch where you can post Announcements about anything you want — lost cats and dogs, school plays, wedding announcements, or a photo of that gorgeous sunset. There’s an Opinion Board — because everyone in town has one, so why not put it all in one place? The Buy/Sell/Trade Board is where you can post your garage sale and get rid of the stuff that’s taken over your basement. And there’s a Board for Business Updates — a dedicated spot for business owners to post news about sales, specials, openings and closings.

TIP: How to navigate the site

Using the green tabs across the top, select one of the following:
Home page: Where you get an overall snapshot of the site.
News: Newest stories in descending order. Or, choose a subcategory from the menu to the left of the page.
Boards: Your place to post anything you want to share with the community, from announcements to items for sale or trade, to business updates (big sale on housewares, your star employee got a promotion, you're extending your hours for the summer, etc.)
Events: Find out what's happening, or add your event directly to our calendar so everyone can know what's happening.
Businesses: Find a local business listing by category; leave some feedback; get directions to the nearest florist - it's all here in one convenient spot.
Smart Phone Apps: Should be available as of today for iPhone. Droids, coming soon. Once you have the app, you can upload info and photos/videos directly to our site from your phone. Sweet, right?

In all things, change is inevitable – just as Nashua continues to evolve as a city, so will Nashua Patch, we hope, as your favorite local news and information site.
Take some time to click around the new Nashua Patch 2.0 and adjust to the improvements. We think you'll like what you see.

Note: We are still working on the transfer of archived stories and videos. If you're looking for something you can't find – or have a specific question – let me know and I'll see if I can expedite  - carol.robidoux@patch.com.

Remember, Patch is all about our community — living our best lives in town, and making our town better for ourselves and our families. So please, tell us what you think of the new Patch in the Opinion Board, or through the feedback form link, to the right of every page or just click here.

And then, share this link with someone who hasn't yet discovered all Nashua Patch has to offer.
