Bridging the Horizon marked its 10th anniversary in January with a grand event at the Atkinson Country Club. Over 270 friends gathered for a lively celebration, complete with stunning decorations, an amazing band, more than 70 raffle baskets, and special cookies featuring attendees' photos! What began as a monthly dinner dance for individuals with diverse abilities has grown into a decade of hard work, culminating in the opening of a Community Center in Hampstead last summer.

During the anniversary event, the Salem Area Special Needs Association was recognized for its generous donation, which helped fund the creation of a world-class MakerSpace. This space allows individuals to explore new skills, build self-confidence, and create beautiful objects. Many gifts showcased at the event were crafted in the MakerSpace with support from our friends at the Community Center. In the coming months, we will offer classes and workshops utilizing the MakerSpace.

We are extremely grateful to all the individuals, organizations, and businesses whose generous support made this memorable event possible. To learn more about our organization, please visit our website at BridgingtheHorizon.org or email us at Trish.Earle1(at)Gmail.com.
