Salem Friendship & Garden Club Completing Second Year

Local club invites potential new members as guests at their June 2nd anniversary luncheon.

It’s hard to believe that the Salem Friendship & Garden Club is wrapping up its second wonderful year after restructuring the original Salem Garden Club, which began in 1954. This month, we’ll be electing new officers to join our board of directors for the next two years, and we’d love you to be part of it!

Our decision to add a social (Friendship) element to the club has been a hit! We’ve outgrown our original meeting space at the Kelley Library and are now gathering at the Salem Boys and Girls Club.

The Salem Friendship & Garden Club is a welcoming space for everyone—whether you're a seasoned gardener, passionate about beautifying Salem, or just looking for some fun and new friendships! Our Tuesday walking club has thrived, as have our Coffee and Conversation breakfasts and theater outings. We hold our monthly meetings on the third Monday at 12:30 PM at the Salem Boys and Girls Club located at 3 Geremonty Drive, Salem, NH. If you’re curious about joining us, please come to our May membership meeting on May 19, and feel free to bring a guest!

To celebrate our second anniversary, we’ll be hosting a lovely luncheon at the home of our current president, Lorie Ball. We invite potential members and guests to join us for our June Luncheon as well—please send your RSVP to FriendshipGarden03079@gmail.com. If you can’t make it to the luncheon, don’t worry! You can always visit our website to learn more about what we do. We can’t wait to meet you!
