Downed Pole, Wires In Neptune Close Rt. 35 Tuesday Morning: DOT

NEPTUNE, NJ - A downed pole and wires on Route 35 in Neptune Township has prompted commuting delays in the area Tuesday morning, authorities said.

As of 5:55 a.m., there’s a downed pole and downed wires on Rt. 35 northbound south of CR 17/Bangs Avenue in Neptune Township, according to the New Jersey Department of Transportation.

All lanes are currently closed and detoured. There is also a 5-to-10-minute delay, the agency said.
