Man Riding Bike Dies In Neptune Twp. After Car Collision
A man riding a bicycle died Monday night in Neptune Township after he was hit by a car.
NEPTUNE TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man riding a bicycle died Monday night in Neptune Township after he was hit by a car, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago announced Wednesday.
The crash occurred at 7:05 p.m. in the area of Corlies Avenue (Rt. 33 west) and South Main Street (Rt. 71). Neptune Twp. Police were called there for a report of a crash involving a bicyclist and a motor vehicle.
The male bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. The prosecutor released no further details about the crash.

An investigation involving members of the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office, Monmouth County Serious Collision Analysis Response Team (SCART) and the Neptune Township Police Department remains active.
