• Police Search For Neptune City Man Wanted For Fatal Shooting In Asbury Park (patch.com) — Asbury Park residents are being urged to help locate a Neptune City man wanted in connection with a deadly Sept. 11 shooting on Monmouth Avenue that killed 37-year-old Tyshan Small and injured another man. Authorities say a separate shooting immediately afterward led to charges against an 18-year-old Asbury Park resident, while the primary suspect remains a fugitive and tips are requested.
   

• Asbury Park, NJ's Classic Ferris Wheel Will Be Rebuilt In This Small PA Town (nj1015.com) — Longtime locals may remember Asbury Park’s classic Ferris wheel, which thrilled visitors from 1895 to 1988 and is now set to be rebuilt in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, using its original parts. A Phoenixville-based historic group is leading the project, highlighting a surprising, enduring connection between the Jersey Shore and a small PA steel town.
