• Gov. Murphy urged to save Asbury Park's iconic Tillie • New Jersey Monitor (newjerseymonitor.com) — Preservation advocates are pressing Gov. Phil Murphy’s administration to rescue Tillie, the beloved fun house face long tied to Asbury Park’s Palace Amusements, before it deteriorates in storage. They argue the state should enforce or amend a development permit so Tillie and other artifacts are restored and publicly displayed locally, potentially at a future hotel, retail project, or even via a full-scale replica on the boardwalk.
