Road Closures In Asbury Park This Week: See Where

ASBURY PARK, NJ - Road milling, paving and striping operations will close the following roads to vehicular traffic in Asbury Park this week, according to authorities:

• Thursday, Nov. 4: Emory Street from Sixth Avenue to Seventh Avenue
• Friday, Nov. 5: Emory Street from Sunset Avenue to Eighth Avenue

Parking will be prohibited between 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day, Asbury Park police wrote in a municipal alert.

In addition, bike lanes will be striped and parking spaces will be delineated along Sunset Avenue from Main Street to Ocean Avenue on Nov. 1 and 2. Parking will be prohibited on both sides of Sunset Avenue from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on both days between Main Street and Park Avenue.

Paid parking will not be extended west of Grand Avenue, police said.

All closures are subject to change due to weather and unforeseen circumstances. Motorists are asked to note detour signs and use caution.
