UPDATE: 2 Dead In Surf City 'Targeted Attack' Are ID'd
Two bodies found dead in a Surf City home on Sunday were identified as John Enders, 87, of Surf City and Francoise Pitoy, 75, of Manchester.
SURF CITY, NJ — Two people who were found dead in a Surf City home on Sunday have been identified as John Enders, 87, of Surf City, and Francoise Pitoy, 75, of Manchester.
Ocean County Prosecutor Bradley D. Billhimer and Surf City Police Chief John N. Casella Jr. announced Monday that authorities were investigating two suspicious deaths.
The bodies were found in a home on North 7th Street on Sunday, authorities said. The deaths are being investigated by the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crime Unit, Surf City Police Department and Ocean County Sheriff’s Office Crime Scene Investigation Unit.

"As we stated earlier, both deaths are suspicious in nature but there is no danger to the public at this time. Our investigation indicates this was a targeted attack against both decedents,” Billhimer said. “We will be able to release more information once post-mortem examinations have been completed."
The investigation is active and ongoing.
