Shore towns are bustling with activity as more annual events have returned after the pandemic canceled them last year.

Celebrate Shark Week
Calling all shark enthusiasts. Learn about the shark species that call the Jersey Shore home during a local nature series talk hosted by the Bayshore Waterfront Park Activity Center in Port Monmouth on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Park system naturalists will take a closer look at some species commonly found along the Jersey Shore, from threshers to blues to whites to hammerheads and many more.

Broadway Meets The Beach
Stars of Broadway will take the stage in Seaside Heights once again this summer in the live summer concert series, Broadway Meets The Beach.
All performances are free and take place on the Franklin Avenue Stage at 7 p.m.
The performance on Friday, July 16 will feature Constantine Maroulis, a finalist from Season 4 of American Idol, Korie Lee Blossey, Jackie Nuzzo, opera singers Josh LeRose and Theresa Carlomagno, Rugburn and The Studio Group.
Two more performances are included in the series on Aug. 13, and Aug. 27. The lineup for those shows can be found here.
Summer In The Street Festival
Toms River’s Summer in the Street Festival will return this year on Saturday, July 17 from noon to 6 p.m.
The festival includes food trucks, live entertainment, and a beer and wine garden.
Vendors will be set up along Washington Street and downtown businesses will be open.
Planes, Trains And Automobiles
Cruise into Historic Cold Spring Village for the Annual Automobiles, Trains, and Planes Weekend on July 17 and 18.
Classic cars will be on display from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
See beautifully restored and preserved vehicles parked along the Village’s tree-lined, shell-paved lanes. Talk with the owners and learn about the process of restoring classic cars as well as the fascinating stories behind their manufacture and history.
Entertainment In Ocean City
Billed as “America’s Greatest Family Friendly Resort,” Ocean City hosts entertainment all week long during the summer.
Market Days are held every Thursday along Asbury Avenue with magic shows and pony rides for kids from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The entertainment moves on to the Boardwalk for Family Night on Thursdays from 7 to 9 p.m. between 6th and 14th Street.
Hear the Ocean City POPS perform iconic Hollywood Hits on Sunday night. Decades of favorites from the silver screen will be performed live at the Music Pier from 7:30 to 9 p.m.
See more live music on Monday when renowned guitarist and multi-instrumentalist David Bromberg brings an exceptional band to the stage. Tickets can be purchased here.
