Barnegat Police Investigate Offensive Graffiti
Police said bus stops, fences and signs along Route 9, Rose Hill Road and Bengal Boulevard were spray painted with derogatory phrases.
BARNEGAT, NJ — Barnegat Township police are seeking tips regarding who wrote derogatory remarks written on public property in several areas.
According to police, derogatory phrases were spray painted on bus stops, fences and signs along Route 9, Rose Hill Road and Bengal Boulevard.
They did not describe the content of the graffiti.

Police said this could have happened Wednesday night or during early morning hours on Thursday.
