Barnegat Police Looking For Car Involved In Recent Hit-And-Run Accident

Barnegat police are asking for the public's help in identifying the license plate or the driver that was invoved in a hit-and-run accident that occurred in the Lefty's Tavern parking lot at 5 p.m. on April 28, according to a post on the police department's Facebook page.

The vehicle is a black or dark blue Chevy Impala or Hyundai Sonata and was being driven by an older white male. The vehicle should have minor front end damage. Anyone with information is asked to contact Patrolman Christopher Ebert at 609-698-5000.
