Coast Guard Rescues Man With Trouble Breathing Off Jersey Coast
The fishing boat was roughly 65 miles off Atlantic City

ATLANTIC CITY - The Coast Guard rescued a man who was having trouble breathing off a fishing boat and took him by helicopter to the Atlantic City Trauma Center.
The 51-year-old man was rescued by an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew on Sunday from the fishing Settler after a crew member on the boat notified watchstanders at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay, said Lt. Maggie Champlin, a pilot aboard the MH-65.
“The weather on scene was challenging because of the late spring fog, but we train to a level that allowed us to safely hoist the patient and deliver him to the hospital,” she said.
