Cops: Traffic Lights On Long Beach Island To Be Activated Soon

LONG BEACH ISLAND, NJ - Leadfoots, listen up.

Hopefully you've been driving carefully all winter long, with only yellow lights on the Boulevard and other Long Beach Island streets.

But the lights are about to change. Speed limits will be reduced next week and the traffic signals will be activated on Monday, May 21, a sure sign of the summer to come.

"Please use caution during this transition as everyone gets adapted to the seasonal traffic regulations," the Long Beach Township police said on their Facebook page.
