Elderly Eagleswood Man Charged With Possession And Distribution Of Child Porn
Thousands of videos and images of children engaged in sexual acts found on John Dalton Jr.s' computers

An Eagleswood Township man is lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River on charges of possession and distribution of child pornography, a spokesman for the Ocean County Prosecutor's Office said.
John Dalton, Jr., 76, 108 Tanglewood Drive was arrested on July 27 after a three-month long investigation by the Prosecutor's Office and the New Jersey State Police in Tuckerton, spokesman Al Della Fave said
His arrest is the result of "proactive cyber monitoring" by the Prosecutor's Office's High Tech Crime Unit which indicated that someone in Ocean County had downloaded images of prepubescent children engaged in sexual acts, he said.

Authorities found several thousand videos and pornographic images of children engaged in sexual acts on computers in Dalton's home, Della Fave said.
Dalton was charged with one count of third-degree possession of child pornography and one count of second-degree distribution of child pornography. He is lodged in the Ocean County Jail in Toms River pending a a first appearance hearing, he said.
