Ocean County Pilot Charged with Filming Child Sexual Abuse
Frank William Maile, 62, of New Egypt, was arrested for filming two underage girls engaging in sex in 2015, U.S. Attorney says

TRENTON - The U.S. Attorney's Office has charged an Ocean County cargo pilot who travels abroad with coercing a minor to participate in acts of child sexual abuse, which he recorded on camera and imported to the United States, U.S. Attorney Craig Carpenito said
Frank William Maile, 62, New Egypt was arrested May 1, 2018, by Department of Homeland Security agents and Homeland Security Investigations. Maile is retired from the U.S. Air Force and currently works as a cargo pilot. He is charged with one count of producing visual depictions of child sexual abuse outside the United States, with the intent that the depictions be imported into the United States, Carpenito said.
Maile is being held without bail after his initial appearance on May 2 before U.S. Magistrate Judge Douglas E. Arpert.

Authorities say that Maile created images and videos of two minor females engaging in multiple sex acts on Dec. 2, 2015 and Dec. 3, 2015, while he was in the Phillipines, Carpenito said.
The charge of producing child pornography abroad carries a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison, a maximum potential penalty of 30 years in prison, and a $250,000 fine, he said.

Carpenito credited special agents of the Department of Homeland Security , Homeland Security Investigations Cherry Hill office, with the investigation leading to the charges. He also thanked the Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office, under the direction of Prosecutor Joseph D. Coronato, and the Plumsted Township Police Department, under the direction of Chief Earl Meroney, for their assistance with the investigation.
