Stafford Police Catch Three Men In The Middle Of A Car Burglary

Men were arrested at 2:30 a.m.

Stafford Township police arrested three out of area men while they were in the middle of a car burglary early on Thursday morning in the Autumn Oak lane area of the Ocean Acres section of the township.

Police located the green Honda CRV vehicle at 2:30 a.m. on March 30, and stopped him at the intersection of Nautilus Drive and Route 72, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.

The driver of the vehicle, Shawn G. Hutchinson, 26, Galloway, NJ, and his passengers, Michael J. Perrottet, 27, and Ralph E. Davis, 19, both from Atlantic City, were arrested and taken to police headquarters, he said.

Hutchinson was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. He was also issued summonses for driving while suspended, failure to stop or yield and failing to use his turn signal.

Perrottet was charged with burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, theft and possession of under 50 grams of marijuana.

Davis was charged with resisting arrest, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary and theft. They were all released pending appearances in Ocean County Superior Court.

Patrolman Brandon Haines was the arresting officer. He was assisted by Patrolman Karl Eiker.
