Stafford Police Charge Mother-Son Duo With Heroin Possession

Christopher Triandafilou and Christine Triandafilou both facing multiple drug charges.

Stafford Township police recently arrested a Manahawkin mother and son and charged them with heroin possession, Lt. James R. Vaughn said.

The arrest came after a motor vehicle stop at milepost 62.7 on the Garden State Parkway at 8:45 p.m. on May 3. The police department's drug enforcement unit arrested Christopher Triandafilou, 24, and his mother, Christine Triandafilou, 56, both of Anchor Avenue and charged them with possession of heroin, conspiracy to possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, Vaughn said.

Nicholas Hoover, 26, Ridge Avenue, Manahawkin, was also charged, he said.

The three were later released pending a future court appearance in the Ocean County Superior Court.

The Stafford Township Drug Enforcement Unit was assisted by Sgt. Robert Conforti, Sgt. James Haldenwang, Patrolman Russell Dunfee and Patrolman Albert Haldenwang.
