State Police Charge South Jersey Woman With DUI, Drug Offenses
Melissa Haugh, 31, Little Egg Harbor, was arrested after an alert motorist saw her driving erratically near the Garden State Parkway.

BASS RIVER TOWNSHIP, NJ – State troopers recently arrested a Little Egg Harbor woman and charged her with drunk driving and possession of multiple drugs, after a Good Samaritan reported her as an erratic driver, according to the department's Facebook page.
Trooper Ryker Toscano located the black Nissan that Melissa Haugh, 31, of Little Egg Harbor Township was driving at 10 a.m. on April 14 and stopped her at milepost 50 southbound on the Garden State Parkway after he saw she was unable to maintain her lane of travel.
The caller reported that the driver, in a black Nissan with Virginia plates, was weaving in and out of multiple lanes on Route 9 as she approached the parkway.

"A big thanks and nice assist goes out to the caller, who potentially saved lives and prevented a tragedy by reporting this to dispatch!" the post states
Toscano determined that Haugh was under the influence and arrested her for driving while intoxoicated. He also found she had heroin, crack cocaine, alprazolam, hypodermic needles, and drug paraphernalia, the post states.

Haugh was charged with possession of heroin, possession of crack cocaine, possession of alprazolam, possession of hypodermic needles, possession of drug paraphernalia, and DWI. She was released pending a court appearance, state police said.
