State Police Identify Body Found On Island Off Little Egg Harbor As Missing Clammer
The cause of death was drowning, New Jersey State Police say.

The New Jersey State Police have identified a body found on Middle Island in Barnegat Bay as a clammer who went missing in early January, according to app.com.
Christopher Hugg, 45, Tuckerton, died from drowning, said Alejandro Goez, a State Police spokesman said.
No foul play is suspected, he said.

Hugg's body was found earlier this week by the members of the Ocean County Mosquito Control Commission, who notified police.
Hugg's family last heard from him on the night of Jan. 12. Despite a massive water and air search, only his boat was discovered on Hither Island in Barnegat Bay, with fishing gear on board, the U.S. Coast Guard has said.
