Waretown Historical Society To Hold Creepy Cemetery Walk On Oct. 15.

Take an evening candlelight stroll through two historic cemeteries.

OCEAN TOWNSHIP, NJ - Members of the Waretown Historical Society are offering a spooky candlelight cemetery tour on Oct. 15 that will wind through a number of final resting places in the township.

The graveyard tour is limited to 75 spaces, said Historical Society President Adele R. Shaw.

"People are already signing, so please don't put off making a reservation if you are interested," she said

The event will begin at 5 p.m. the Little Red Schoolhouse Museum at 182 Wells Mills Road. Light refreshments will be served before the creepy tour begins.

"It's spooky fun, with a history lesson through in," Shaw said.

The tour will wind its way through the Old Presbyterian and Cedar Grove cemeteries.

Admission for the tour is $10. Proceeds will be used to fund the society's scholarships to Southern Regional High School.
