College Financing Tips This Saturday at Bernards Library

Free seminar with longtime financial aid administrator, along with bagels and coffee.

If paying for college is looming on the horizon for you and your student, a free workshop this Saturday morning at the Bernards Township Library in Basking Ridge will help steer you in the right direction for financial aid opportunities.

Financial Aid Administrator Joe Roberto, with more than 38 years of experience, is scheduled to conduct the seminar between 10 to 11:30 a.m., when he will speak about financial programs available for college-bound students. Roberto has been working with Higher Education Student Assistance Authority (HESAA) and the New Jersey Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NJASFAA) Speaker’s Bureau for many years.

This informative program will provide details on federal, state and university financial aid opportunities for college. The presentation will help students and parents prepare and get a step up on forms needed, and scholarships and loans that are available to plan the financing of college.
