Community Thanksgiving Dinner Welcomes All to Free Meal in Basking Ridge
Annual Tradition Provides Warm Gathering for Those Spending Holiday Alone or in Need

BASKING RIDGE, NJ – Bishop Janes United Methodist Church invites the community to its annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thursday, November 27, 2025, from 2:00-4:00 PM. The free meal welcomes anyone seeking a place to celebrate Thanksgiving, whether they're far from family, facing difficult circumstances, or simply looking for community connection on the holiday.
Now in its third year, the dinner has become a cherished tradition for residents across Bernardsville, Bernards Township, and surrounding communities. The church has never had to turn anyone away and welcomes both those who RSVP and walk-in guests.
"Thanksgiving is about gratitude and togetherness," said Pastor Dave Tillisch. "No one should spend this day alone. We're here to provide not just a meal, but a warm, welcoming community where everyone belongs."
