Reason for recognition: Ryan and a team of high schoolers from Basking Ridge, surrounding communities and across the US created a free online STEM camp, www.steminplace.com This camp served over 950 enrollees over the summer & raised thousands for area education charities.One thing to know: Ryan and the founding team dedicated hundreds of hours to create a website, develop and test a curriculum and deliver it for free to middle school students. They reached NJ students but word spread to students as far as Hong Kong and Switzerland.
