JCP&L: Power Coming To 1,400 Bernards Customers Friday
The utility issued a detailed update on service restoration Thursday afternoon
BASKING RIDGE, NJ—Jersey Central Power & Light expected to restore power to 1,400 Bernards Township customers on Friday, the second of three days of large restorations.
The company said it repaired 1,700 locations in town on Thursday despite difficult conditions. 1,200 more are expected on Saturday.
"Downed trees, broken branches and road closures continue to hamper crews' efforts to access
areas with damage to make repairs to broken poles and downed wires," said Cliff Cole, JCP&L Spokesman.

Somerset County reported 9,397 outages on Friday morning, with 3,491 in Bernards.
