Lord Stirling Stable Offering Pony Pals Club for Children, Parents
Lord Stirling Stable is offering a Pony Pals Club to introduce children to horses.
The Somerset County Park Commission is offering a Pony Pals Club for children and parents, designed to introduce children to horses and encourage child-parent interaction.
The program is scheduled for Saturday, March 28, at Lord Stirling Stable, 256 South Maple Ave. in Basking Ridge. The program is 30 minutes in length, from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., and is is directed at parents and children between the ages of 2 and 4 years old. The Pony Pals Club includes a pony story, game activity and pony ride.
The fee for a child-parent pair is $5 and $3 for each additional sibling. Siblings between the ages of 2 and 9 years old are also welcome.

A one-hour long program, scheduled from 11 a.m. to noon, is directed at children ages 5 to 7 and a parent, and includes a pony story, game activity or craft, and a pony ride. Siblings ages 5 to 9 are also welcome. Free is $10 per child-parent pair and $5 per sibling.
Pre-registration is required by telephone or in person at Lord Stirling Stable. Payment is required at the time of enrollment.
