New Businesses Coming To Basking Ridge Area In 2026
A children's gym and a brewery are among the new arrivals expected in 2026.
BASKING RIDGE, NJ — This past calendar year has brought changes to Basking Ridge's business, with some closures and planned openings ahead.
Here are a few businesses expected to open in the Basking Ridge area in 2026:
Little Gym

Cousins Tina Miraglia and Nicole Bednarski are teaming up to open a Little Gym in Basking Ridge.

The Little Gym targets families with children aged 4 months to 12 years. They offer classes, mini sports sessions, birthday parties, and Parents Night Out events.
Brewery
Not exactly in Basking Ridge, but nearby in Peapack and Gladstone, a new brewery is coming to the area.
The Peapack and Gladstone Land Use Board approved 219 Main LLC's application on June 18 to bring a brewery to the borough. Read More: New Brewery Coming To Somerset County, Will Replace Classic Car Dealership
The brewery will occupy the existing one-story, approximately 11,448 square foot commercial building and make minor improvements on the outside of the building, including removing a shed and modifying a walkway.
Land Rover
The luxury car dealership Land Rover is looking to build its second Somerset County location in Bridgewater off Route 22. Read More: Land Rover Looks To Build New Somerset County Dealership In Bridgewater
The plan approved by the Planning Board on April 8 proposes to construct a single-story building of about 24,831 square feet for a Land Rover Car Dealership, which will include a new car showroom, offices, and a Land Rover automotive service center with 11 service bays.
The dealership will be located on Route 22 West in the empty lot between the former Safavieh and the Honda dealership, which was formerly home to Gannett and Courier News.
The Clubhouse of Somerset County

The Bridgewater Township Planning Board unanimously approved the Clubhouse of Somerset County LLC's application on Oct. 21 to convert the former Safavieh building at 1213 Route 22 West, which closed in September.
The interior changes to the building include the construction of a state-of-the-art commercial kitchen, installation of 12 golf simulator suites (10 on the first floor and two VIP suites on the second floor), multiple bar and dining areas, casual lounges, a membership-only lounge, private event rooms, a conference room, and storage space.
For the exterior, the applicant will add a rear patio area intended for socializing, golf-related activities, and other complementary uses, along with reconfiguration and slight expansion of the existing parking lot to increase capacity from 108 to 140 spaces, including EV parking spaces and supporting infrastructure.
Patidar Supermarket
A new Indian grocery store, Patidar Supermarket, is coming to the Somerset County area. Read More: New Indian Grocery Store Coming To Somerset County
Construction is currently occurring in the former Buy Buy Baby location at 711 Route 28 in Bridgewater, off the Somerville Circle. An opening date has not been announced as of Monday.
The supermarket will transform the 32,000 square foot space to offer "fresh produce, authentic Indian groceries, unbeatable prices, and a shopping experience like no other."
