Police responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a local Rite Aid earlier this week.

Bernards Township Police earlier this week responded to a report of a vehicle crashing into a local drug store earlier.
A 40-year-old Basking Ridge woman crashed her Mercedes Benz into the wall of a Rite-Aid store, located at 544 Allen Road, Wednesday evening, according to a report from NJ.com.
The crash happened shortly before 6:30 p.m. Police responded to the scene after receiving a report of a vehicle crashing into the wall of the store, NJ.com said. After arriving at the scene, police observed a 2015 Mercedes Benz ML3 that had struck the building.

The driver was not identified and was issued a summons for careless driving, according to MyCentralJersey.com. She told police she confused the brake and gas pedals while parking the vehicle, the website said.
No injuries were reported.
