Motor Vehicle Stop on I-78 Leads to Foot Pursuit

Two people were taken into custody after a motor vehicle stop on I-78 that led to a foot pursuit on Thursday afternoon, according to Bernards Township police.

Police said no other information would be available as of Thursday afternoon.

A reader told Patch that Bernards Township and state police cars were near the Affinity Federal Credit Union and the Panera Bread by I-78 in the middle of the afternoon. She said between 10 to 20 police cars were blocking the entrance to 100 Marketplace and part of the access road to Affinity.
