• Residents Escape House Fire At Basking Ridge Home (patch.com) — Basking Ridge-area residents are safe after a Sunday night house fire on Galloping Hill Road in the Liberty Corner section of Bernards Township, where alarms alerted them in time to evacuate. Multiple local fire and EMS crews, including Basking Ridge Fire and EMS, contained the blaze within 45 minutes, though the family cannot currently stay in the home. Officials say the cause appears accidental and highlight ongoing volunteer opportunities with the Liberty Corner Fire Company.
