Peapack & Gladstone Library Set To Reopen Following Renovations
To celebrate the new space, SCLSNJ invites the public to a grand reopening ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 24.

PEAPACK & GLADSTONE, NJ — Somerset County Library System of New Jersey (SCLSNJ), announces the official reopening of the Peapack & Gladstone branch on Monday, Jan. 5, at 10 a.m.
The branch has undergone an extensive renovation project made possible through the generous funding and dedicated advocacy of the Friends of the Peapack & Gladstone Library.
This renovation project focuses on enhancing the patron experience, ensuring the branch remains a hub for learning and community connection within the SCLSNJ system.

"The renovation of the Peapack & Gladstone branch reflects our ongoing commitment to providing welcoming, modern spaces that meet the evolving needs of our communities," said Peter Bromberg, SCLSNJ Library Director. "We are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support of the Friends and the collaboration with the Borough, which will allow us to offer enhanced resources and a refreshed environment for all our patrons to explore."
Carol Lane, President of the Friends of the Peapack & Gladstone Library, shared, "Seeing this complete transformation materialize is a rewarding moment for past and present members of our organization. Our guiding principle was Patron First in our design efforts, and we hope those of all ages will enjoy the new welcoming space created throughout. We are grateful to our Borough for its leadership and to our donors for their generous support which made this project possible."

To celebrate the new space, SCLSNJ invites the public to a grand reopening ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 24, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the branch.
The morning will begin with a ceremonial ribbon-cutting featuring local officials and library leadership. Following the ceremony, attendees can enjoy a high-energy performance by musical artist Kurt Gallagher as well as a performance of "Dorothy and the Wizard of Oz" presented by Trilogy Repertory starting at 1 p.m. in St. Luke's Episcopal Church.
Throughout the event, visitors are encouraged to explore the updated library space, which features refreshed seating and updated resource areas.
