Jayden Mateo Ventura Dehesa is Somerset County's first baby of 2026.

SOMERSET COUNTY, NJ — Say hello to Somerset County's first baby born of 2026 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital (RWJUH) Somerset.
Jayden Mateo Ventura Dehesa was born at 9:56 a.m. on Jan. 1.
The baby boy was born to Alondra Lizzeth Dehesa Flores and Isrrael Ventura Cortes of Raritan. Jayden weighed 8 pounds and was 20 inches long. He is the couple’s first child.
