President Trump In Bedminster, Airspace Restrictions In Effect
The president will be at his golf club this weekend
BASKING RIDGE, NJ—The Federal Aviation Administration has issued a Temporary Flight Restriction for the central and northern New Jersey areas this weekend because of President Trump's visit to Trump National Golf Club in Bedminster.
The flight restrictions, which amount to a "no-fly" zone within 10-mile radius of the club, are in effect until Sunday, when the president is scheduled to be in Long Branch at a fundraiser. The precautions are standard procedure for the president's visits.
The last time Trump was at the club, in late July, fighter jets were scrambled to intercept two civilian planes that strayed into the restricted airspace, startling many local residents.
