Sixth Grade Girls Ridge Youth B'Ball Wins Championship
Team caps playoffs of four winning away games.
The sixth grade Ridge Youth Sports Girls Basketball Team won the Upper
National Championship in the Garden State Basketball League with a 38-25
win over Colonia on Thurs, March 21.
Facing a crowd on their opponents' turf, the Basking Ridge girls were able to overcome a 8-0 deficit to outscore Colonia 38-17 the rest of the way.
The win capped a playoff stretch where Basking Ridge
had to win four road games in New Providence, Westfield, Madison and
finally Colonia to win the Championship.
