Time To Clean Closets & Donate to VNA Rummage Sale

Donations taken starting late next week to stock up the spring Visiting Nurse Association rummage sale.

It's time again for spring cleaning of closets and clutter — and to take those items, which may be valuable to someone else, to drop off as a donation for the Visiting Nurse Association of Somerset Hills' spring rummage sale.

Volunteers will be lining up at the Far Hills Fairgrounds starting on Saturday, April 6, to assist donors in unloading clothing, books, furniture, artwork, toys and decorations — and almost any other gently used home or accessory items — that later can be sold at the VNA's fundraising rummage sale.

The sale is in an event that draws rummage sale lovers from far and near to the fairgrounds off Route 202 in Far Hills.

One hundred percent of proceeds from an event that relies on hundreds of volunteers to run the sale goes to provide home health and hospice care for needy families in Morris and Somerset County communities.
