Weather Forecast: Snow on First Day of Spring? Hour-by-Hour Forecast
Temperatures have been warming up around the region, but could we see snow on the first day of spring?

As temperatures have been warming up and the small mountains of snow accumulation have started to melt, winter seemed all but over. However, the National Weather Service reports the region could see snow on the first day of spring.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region, effective from 6 a.m. Friday through 2 a.m. Saturday. The advisory states snow could hit the region, beginning during the Friday morning commute and continuing through Friday evening. Hazardous travel conditions will exist due to reduced visibilities and snow covered roads.
The NWS reports that Basking Ridge could receive snow on Friday after 8 a.m., with a high near 34 degrees. The snow. The possible snowfall totals are expected to be between 2 and 4 inches. Friday night should be a low around 27 degrees.

The NWS said temperatures should increase a bit after Friday, as the high temperature on Saturday and Sunday are expected to be 47 degrees and 39 degrees respectively.
