WEATHER UPDATE: Hour-by-Hour Forecast As Snow Approaches Basking Ridge
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and hazardous weather outlook for the region.

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory and hazardous weather outlook after reporting that 3 to 6 inches of snow and traces of ice are expected to blanket the region.
Basking Ridge can expect snow this afternoon, heavy at times, with temperatures around 35 and wind chills between 30 and 35, the NWS said. Total possible daytime snow accumulations are between 3 and 5 inches.
Tonight, Basking Ridge can expect snow before midnight, heavy at times. Temperatures should remain steady around 27 degrees. Possible snow accumulation of 1 inch, the NWS reported.

Temperatures are expected to warm up on the weekend, however. Saturday and Sunday are expected to have peak temperatures of 46 and 39 degrees respectively.
