Whitenack Road Reopening Just After 3 p.m. Friday
Wires down close road for hours on snowy day.
Whitenack Road was due to open just minutes after 3 p.m. on Friday after being closed at the intersection of Baltursol Way on Friday morning and early afternoon for a total period of several hours following an accident that knocked down utility wires, according to police.
The road remained closed south of Annin Road while power cable and phone companies still were working to clear the road, said Bernards Township Police.
Police earlier said wires were down after a few fender benders earlier in the morning.

A telephone pole was knocked down during an accident, the township website said.
