2021 Elections: Vote-By-Mail Drop Box Set Up In Berkeley
Ocean County recently set up 19 new vote-by-mail drop boxes, including one in Berkeley Township.

BERKELEY, NJ — The Ocean County Board of Elections has set up a secure drop box in Berkeley Township, where residents can place their mail-in ballots for the upcoming election.
The drop box is outside the Berkeley Library branch at 30 Station Rd. The box is among 19 secure drop box locations across Ocean County installed for voters to securely submit completed ballots.
A list of locations is available online at the New Jersey Elections page and the Ocean County Board of Elections website. All 19 drop boxes are accessible 24 hours a day, and all of them are subject to video surveillance and other security measures.

Berkeley residents will vote for governor and state legislative seats, as well as local school board and council seats.
Four Republicans are running to keep their seats on the Berkeley Township Council — incumbents James Byrnes, Angelo Guadagno, Michael Signorile and Sophia Gingrich against Democratic challengers Alexis Loftus, Patrick O’Keefe, Andrew Prudente and Thomas White Jr.

In the Berkeley Township Board of Education race, three candidates are running for reelection —incumbents Douglas Bowens, Anne Marie Trethaway and John MacMoyle
Meanwhile at Central Regional, four candidates are vying for two seats on the board of education— incumbents Al Aires and George Dohn are running for reelection against newcomers Merissa Borawski and Heather Koenig.
In the District 9 Senate race, incumbent Republican Christopher Connors will face Democrat David T. Wright and Regina Discenza, who is running under the slogan "Unaffiliated Best Choice."
Republican incumbents DiAnne Gove and Brian Rumpf are running in the general election for New Jersey General Assembly District 9 against Democrats Kristen Henninger-Holland and Alexis Jackson.
