Another Calm, Sunny Day At Ocean County Beaches
Expect calm seas with a low rip current risk for today.
OCEAN COUNTY, NJ - The National Weather Service is calling for another beautiful day with sunny skies and fairly calm surf at Ocean County beaches.
Highs today will be in the mid 70s. Winds will be from the south.
The rip current risk is still low. But rips are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. Do your homework and check to see if the beach you are heading to is guarded. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night.

Several people did last week and had to be rescued from a rip current at an unguarded beach at Island Beach State Park.
Waves will be around 2 feet, with southerly swells of 2 feet. The ocean water temperature is still a nippy 63 degrees. The ultraviolet index is a 9, which the NWS considers very high. So bring the sunshine if you're planning on working on a tan.

High tide at Barnegat Inlet will arrive at 11:34 a.m. Low tide will roll in at 5:41 p.m., followed by another high tide at 11:47 p.m.
