Beachwood Police Say 30 Cars Had Tires Slashed Overnight On May 16

Police asking residents to check home surveillance systems for evidence

BEACHWOOD, NJ - Beachwood police are investigating multiple tire slashings that took place earlier this week on Leeward, Spar and Anchor avenues, according to the department's Facebook page.

Police are asking residents in those areas to check their home surveillance systems between 11 p.m. on May 15 and 7 a.m. on May 16 for any suspicious activity. Beachwood detectives are investigating the incidents.

Officers responded at 7 a.m. on May 16 to numerous reports of vehicles with slashed tires on the three streets.
