Berkeley Police Looking for Man Who Broke Into Car At Wawa
He stole a purse, wallet and checks from an unlocked vehicle on Feb. 22, police chief says

BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, NJ - Berkeley police are asking for your help to identify a car that belongs to a man caught on video stealing a purse, wallet and personal checks out of an unlocked vehicle parked at Wawa on Route 9 on Feb. 22, Police Chief Karin T. DiMichele said.
Officers were able to describe the suspect as a white male who was wearing all black clothing. The man fled the area on Route 9 southbound in what is believed to be a white Nissan sedan with a sunroof and dark, tinted windows, the chief said.
