Berkeley’s Annual ‘Night Out Against Crime’ Returns Wednesday

Berkeley Township's annual "Night Out Against Crime" will showcase emergency vehicles, inflatables and live bands in Veterans Park.

BERKELEY, NJ — Berkeley’s 10th annual "Night Out Against Crime" returns to Veterans Park on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.

The night will include live music, inflatables and food as police, firefighters and other public safety agencies showcase their emergency vehicles.

“Weather and emergency permitting, we will have the State Police helicopter on hand so residents can get an up-close look," Mayor Carmen Amato said.

An inflatable axe throwing game and inflatable rainbow obstacle course will be set up for kids, and refreshments will be sold by nonprofit groups.

Rock N' Rhythm will perform music at 6 p.m. followed by Super TransAm playing classic songs from the 1970s at 7:30 p.m.
