Berkeley's National Night Out And Summer Concert Series Coming Up
The event will be held on Aug. 2 at Veterans Park

Here's your chance to get to know Berkeley Township police officers and emergency responders a little better and take in a country music concert at the same time.
Berkeley's Sixth Annual “Night out Against Crime" and Sounds of Summer Concert Series will begin at 5 p.m. on Aug 2 at Veterans Park in Bayville.
Meet members of the township's first aid squads, fire departments and other public safety agencies will be on hand, along with the different types of equipment and vehicles they use. Members of the DARE program will also be there with games and prizes for children, courtesy of Berkeley PBA#237, Mayor Carmen F. Amato Jr. said.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. It aims to enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community.
Radio Nashville will take to the stage at 7:30 p.m. with lots of country music.

Refreshments will be available from local nonprofit groups and organizations that use these events as fundraisers.
