Central Regional School District, Hugh J. Boyd Elementary, Berkeley Township Schools Both Closed On Tuesday

Students in the Central Regional school district and the Hugh J. Boyd Elementary School in Seaside Heights will be closed on Tuesday, due to the winter storm.

Superintendent Triantafillos Parlapanides made the announcement late on Monday afternoon.

Parlapanides is the supervisor for the Central Regional and Seaside Heights districts.

Berkeley Township school officials are also closed today.

Although the National Weather Service yesterday reduced the snow projections for South Jersey since earlier today, snow, rain and coastal flooding are still expected.
