Cloudy Skies, Becoming Partly Sunny Later On Ocean County Beaches

Ocean water temperature is slowly warming, low risk of rip currents, National Weather Service says

OCEAN COUNTY, NJ The National Weather Service is calling for mostly cloudy skies until the sun comes out later this afternoon.

Highs will be in the low 80s, with northwest winds around 10 miles per hour, switching to the northeast in the afternoon.

There's a low risk of rip currents today. But rips can still occur near jetties and other structures. Some beaches are still not guarded on weekdays, so do your homework first to find one that is. Never swim on an unguarded beach and never swim alone or at night. Don't be a statistic.
