Coastal Monmouth Beach Report For June 26, 2017
A nearly perfect beach day ahead, if you don't mind cooler water and air temperatures.

It's going to be a nice beach day if you're lucky enough to have the day off.
The National Weather Service is calling for sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s. Winds will be from the west at 10 miles per hour, becoming southwest in the afternoon.
The rip current risk is low. But rips can still develop, especially near jetties and other structures. Always swim in a guarded area and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you always have a flotation device with you in the water.

Waves will be from two to three feet, with southerly swells of two feet. The ocean water temperature is a chilly 66 degrees.
The ultraviolet index is a 9, which the National Weather Service considers very, so bring the sunscreen. There is no lightning threat today.

High tide At Belmar just rolled in at 9:54 a.m.. Low tide will arrive at 3:49 p.m., followed by another high tide at 10:08 p.m.
