Highs will be in the mid-70s, with south winds from 5 to 10 miles per hour.

There's a low risk of rip currents, but rips are always possible, especially near jetties and other structures. Always swim near lifeguards and never swim alone or at night. The NWS suggests you bring a floatation device with you if you are going in the water.

The ultraviolet index is a 7, which the NWS considers high. The lightning threat today is low.

Waves will be about two feet high, with southeast swells of only one foot. The surf temperature is still a chilly 65 degrees.

Low tide at Barnegat Inlet rolled in at 5:22 a.m. High tide will arrive at 11:14 a.m., followed by another low tide at 5:22 p.m.
