Dangerous Rip Current Risk Drops At Ocean County Beaches, Sunny Skies Expected
National Weather Service is still predicting a moderate risk for swimmers

The National Weather Service is calling for a moderate risk of rip currents on Ocean County beaches, a welcome change from the perilous conditions of the weekend.
But you should still check with local beach patrols, always swim on a guarded beach and never swim alone or at night. A young woman who worked on the Point Pleasant Beach boardwalk, drowned after she took an early morning swim on Sunday morning.
The NWS recommends you always bring a flotation device with you in the water. The surf temperature is 72 degrees.Waves will be around much three feet, with easterly swells of 2 feet.

Skies will be sunny today, with a high around 80 degree. Winds will be from the northwest at 5 miles per hour, becoming southeast in the afternoon.
Low tide at Barnegat Inlet rolled in at 8:58 a.m. High tide will arrive at 3:10 p.m, followed by another low tide at 9:39 p.m.
