The first shot is several homes on Balsalm Drive off Bayview, almost as if they are on their own island. The National Weather Service's coastal flood advisory will remain until 2 p.m. on Monday. That means minor tidal flooding is imminent. There are two more high tides to come, one on Sunday night, one on Monday morning.

"Do not drive your vehicle through flood waters," the NWS says. "The water may be deeper than you think. You will be putting yourself in danger and your vehicle may be damaged, leading to costly repairs."
